Abstract:
To provide a rotary electric machine in which, even when a resin-made center piece is used, the electromagnetic shield performance and heat dissipation performance to a circuit board can be ensured.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine 10 includes: an annular stator 12; a shaft 14 that is disposed on the center axis of the stator 12; a rotor 16 that is rotatably supported by the shaft 14; a resin-made center piece 18 that has a plate-like portion 52 which faces, in the axis direction of the stator 12, the stator 12 and to which the stator 12 and the shaft 14 are fixed; a metal plate 20 that is disposed on a side opposite to the stator 12 with respect to the plate-like portion 52; a circuit board 22 that is disposed on a side opposite to the plate-like portion 52 with respect to the metal plate 20 and that has a ground in contact with the metal plate 20; and a metallic board case 26 that covers the circuit board 22 from a side opposite to the metal plate 20 with respect to the circuit board 22 and that is in contact with the metal plate 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
