Abstract:
To provide a hydraulic shock absorber which can generate sufficient damping force when compressed and expanded.SOLUTION: A hydraulic shock absorber (30) includes: a first cylindrical body (46); a rod (73) which is provided within the first cylindrical body (46) in such a way so as to be relatively movable along an axis (CL); a piston (75) including a valve (75d) which is fixed to the rod (73) and closes when the rod (73) moves from one end (46a) of the first cylindrical body (46) to the other end (46b); a return passage (RP) which returns oil (Oi) pushed out from the first cylindrical body (46) by the piston (75) when the rod (73) moves to the one end (46a) of the first cylindrical body (46); and an accumulator (60) which accumulates the oil (Oi) when the rod (73) moves from the one end (46a) of the first cylindrical body (46) to the other end (46b).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
