Abstract:
To reduce power consumed by a vehicle control device.SOLUTION: A portable terminal 20 can receive a search signal Jkw for searching the portable terminal 20, and transmit a response signal Jkr responding to the search signal Jkw. A vehicle control device 10 includes a communication part 161, a distance determination part 112, and a signal generation part 113. The communication part 161 can transmit the search signal Jkw, and receive the response signal Jkr. The distance determination part 112 acquires first information J0 showing a first position being a position at which the vehicle control device 10 exists and second information Jg showing a second position being a position at which the portable terminal 20 exists, and determines a distance between the first position and the second position. The signal generation part 113 generates a waiting signal Js for causing the communication part 161 to transmit the search signal Jkw after waiting for a time corresponding to a result of determination by the distance determination part 112.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
