Abstract:
To extend a life of a welding electrode for indirect spot welding.SOLUTION: A welding method includes a polishing step of moving an electrode material included in an intermediate part 8 of a welding electrode 4 from the intermediate part 8 to a tip part 7 of the welding electrode 4 with a rotating polishing tool 9. The polishing tool 9 includes: a first opening part 10 into which the welding electrode 4 is inserted; a second opening part 11 for exposing the tip part 7 of the welding electrode 4 that is inserted from the first opening part 10; and a guiding part 12 for moving the electrode material included in the intermediate part 8 to the tip part 7 through the second opening part 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
