Abstract:
To provide a pneumatic tire which achieves excellent wet steering stability and suppresses uneven wear of a shoulder region, and is improved in linearity of steering stability.SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire satisfies the relationships of 1.02≤(LB2/LB1)/(LA2/LA1)≤1.25, and 1.00≤(LC2/LC1)/(LB2/LB1)≤1.20, for the maximum grounding lengths LA1, LB1, and LC1 in a tire circumferential direction, the maximum grounding widths WA1, WB1, and WC1 in a tire width direction, and the outer part grounding lengths LA2, LB2, and LC2 in the tire circumferential direction at a position of 40% of the maximum grounding widths WA1, WB1, and WC1 from a tire center position toward the outside in the tire width direction, that are measured when the tire is filled with air pressure of 230 kPa and under the condition of applying loads of 40%, 75% and 100% of the maximum load ability. Further, in the pneumatic tire, sipes having a chamfered part are formed on at least one row of land parts of a shoulder region Xs, and the maximum depth x (mm) of the sipe and the maximum depth y (mm) of the chamfered part satisfy a relationship of x*0.1≤y≤x*0.3+1.0.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
