Abstract:
To provide means for regulating a position of a medium without increasing an energization force to a medium of a regulation member.SOLUTION: A medium storage cassette has a medium mounting surface that allows a medium to be mounted thereon, and a regulation member that is slidable to the medium mounting surface and regulates a side end in a paper feeding direction of the medium, in which the regulation member has a medium contact part having a guide surface for guiding an end of the medium, a holding part for swingably holding the medium contact part around a swing shaft, a first energization member for energizing the medium contact part toward a medium end and a second energization member which is arranged so as to sandwich the first energization member and the swing shaft and energizes the medium contact part toward the medium end, and the swing shaft extends in a direction substantially parallel to the medium mounting surface and the guide surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
