Abstract:
To provide an information processing device, an information processing method, a portable terminal, and a program which enable an emergency call even in the case of being impossible to communicate with an external server.SOLUTION: An information processing device 1 mounted on a vehicle 3 is provided with a processor mounted on the vehicle 3 to transmit abnormality occurrence information showing an occurrence of abnormality to a prescribed server 4 through a first communication part for executing communication by a first communication system through a base station in the case of detecting the occurrence of the abnormality about the vehicle 3. The processor transmits a request for proxy transmission to the prescribed server 4 of the abnormality occurrence information to a terminal 2 existing around through a second communication part mounted on the vehicle 3 to execute communication by a second communication system for enabling direction communication between terminals in the case that communication with the prescribed server 4 is impossible through the first communication part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
