Abstract:
To provide a golf ball which can prevent a decrease in carry distance of a driver shot during play in a rainy weather and also, can exert excellent spinning performance upon an approach shot.SOLUTION: The golf ball of the present invention includes: a core 10; a cover 20 that is provided on an outer side of the core and is provided with dimples 22; and an outermost layer 30 that is formed on an outer side of the cover and made of a material having a contact angle of 90° or greater. The golf ball has a dynamic friction coefficient of 0.52 or more. The material constituting the outermost layer 30 comprises an urethane coating that contains a water repellent additive, and the urethane coating includes polyisocyanate as a hardening agent, and the polyisocyanate includes both an adduct body and an isocyanurate body of hexamethylene diisocyanate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
