Abstract:
To provide a charger capable of solving a disadvantage of conventional vehicles in which DC power is supplied from the outside of the vehicle to charge the in-vehicle battery; such a type of vehicle has a charging connector that is connector-connected to the power supply cable outside the vehicle and a charger that switches between energizing and shutting off the DC power supplied from the charging connector to the battery; in such a configuration, a charging connection that is connected via a charging connector and a cable and a battery connection that is connected via a battery and a cable are included; in the above configuration, the cable may become long and the effect of power loss may increase depending on the positional relation between the charging connection and the charging connector and battery.SOLUTION: In the disclosed charger, the charging connection is placed on the charging connector side, and the battery connection is placed on the battery side. With this configuration, the cable length is suppressed from becoming long. Thus, the disclosed charger is capable of suppressing the effects of power loss.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
