Abstract:
To provide a rotation detector with improved accuracy of detection.SOLUTION: A rotation detector 1 includes a magnet 10 provided so as to rotate in synchronism with a rotor, with one or more sets of magnetic poles 11 arranged in its own direction of rotation. The rotation detector also includes two magnetism sensors 20 each provided with a detection circuit 23 formed by bridge-connecting a plurality of detection elements 24 that detect the magnetic field of the magnet 10, and outputting the output voltage of the detection circuit 23 to a control unit 31 and thereby causing the control unit 31 to detect the rotation of the rotor. Furthermore, the two magnetism sensors 20 output output voltages V differing in phase between these magnetism sensors 20, and are arranged in a layout which is symmetrical with respect to a center line passing through the middle of the two magnetism sensors 20 and a magnet center 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
