Abstract:
To provide an article conveyance facility that can reliably detect the lifting of a conveyance carriage with respect to a rail that is a cause of derailment of the conveyance carriage.SOLUTION: An article conveyance facility 10 for conveying articles by a conveyance carriage 20 traveling on a pair of left and right rails 14 provided along a conveyance path K includes: a carriage driving device 50 that drives the conveyance carriage 20 by utilizing frictional force due to the contact with the conveyance carriage 20; and sensors 41, 42, 43 and 44 that detect the lifting of the conveyance carriage 20 with respect to the rail 14. The conveyance carriage 20 includes a fin 26 that comes into contact with the carriage driving device 50. The fin 26 is extended along a traveling direction of the conveyance carriage 20 at a position below a position of an upper surface 14a of the rail 14. The sensors 41, 42, 43 and 44 detect the lifting of the conveyance carriage 20 with respect to the rail 14 by detecting the fin 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
