Abstract:
To provide a sorting facility capable of reliably performing a sorting operation at a predetermined position on a conveyance path for a sorting part provided on a conveyance carriage.SOLUTION: A sorting facility 10 that sorts articles 90 by a plurality of connected conveyance carriages 20 includes: a general controller 40 that manages a position of the conveyance carriage 20; a trigger sensor 44 that detects the conveyance carriage 20; and a belt conveyor 23 provided on the conveyance carriage 20. The general controller 40 identifies the conveyance carriage 20 to which the article 90 should be delivered to a chute 13 based on the position of the conveyance carriage 20 to be managed, instructs the belt conveyor 23 provided on the specified conveyance carriage 20 to pay out the article 90, and instructs the belt conveyor 23 provided on the specified conveyance carriage 20 to start the payout operation of the article 90 at the timing when the trigger sensor 44 detects the specified conveyance carriage 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
