Abstract:
To provide a waste incineration device and a method that can determine a precise burn out point position of a waste layer, and can properly control an operation amount of an operation terminal.SOLUTION: A waste incineration device includes: a stereo camera device 13 with two infrared cameras arranged in a sidewall 2A of a combustion chamber 2 of an incinerator 1; layer surface detection means 14 for detecting a layer surface shape of a waste layer on the basis of a brightness value in the waste layer surface obtained from a thermal image of the waste layer imaged by the stereo camera device 13; burn out point positioning means 15 for finding a layer height of the waste layer from the detected layer surface shape, and detecting a burn out point position of the waste on the basis of the layer height; and a control device 17 for controlling an operation amount in an operation terminal of the incinerator 1 on the basis of the determined burn out point position. The burn out point positioning means 15 detects a position where the layer height becomes a predetermined threshold value as a specific position in a moving direction y in the combustion chamber 2 of the waste, and determines the specific position in an uppermost side of the moving direction y as the burn out point position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
