Abstract:
To suppress crack of a pressure chamber.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge head comprises a plurality of piezoelectric elements arranged in a first direction, and a pressure chamber substrate in which a plurality of corresponding pressure chambers are formed in parallel in the first direction. The piezoelectric element comprises first electrodes provided in common with respect to a plurality of piezoelectric bodies and a second electrode provided individually, and has a first region to a fourth region, when viewed in a laminating direction in which the element is laminated in the pressure chamber substrate. When a position closer to an end than a first position in a range where the pressure chambers extend in a second direction crossing the first direction is defined as a second position, and when a position closer to the end than a third position in a range where the pressure chambers extend in the first direction is defined as a fourth position, the first electrode and the second electrode are provided in the laminating direction in the first region at the first position and at the third position to overlap with each other, and the first electrodes are provided in the second region at the first position and at the fourth position and in the fourth region at the second position and the fourth position, and the first electrode is not provided in the third region at the second position and at the third position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
