Abstract:
Disclosed are marine anti-fouling compositions, such as coating compositions, of a thermoplastic or thermoset binder, solvent, and anti-fouling agent wherein the anti-fouling agent comprises a pesticide or herbicide having a chi value of between about 0.01 and 0.5, a Z parameter for vinyl or aromatic compounds of between about 0.01 and 0.08, and an LD50 value of greater than 200 mg/kg against rats and mice.
