Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve image resolution by convoluting projected data with a plurality of convolution functions and reversely projecting in a reconstitution region. CONSTITUTION:A frame 1 allows a gamma camera 6 fixed with a fanbeam collimator 5 to rotate around an inspected body P for 360 degrees to detect gammaray emitted from radioactives distributed in the inspected body P from all directions. The projected image data obtained from the camera 6 are collected in a data acquisition part 2. The projection image data are filter-processed at first in the data acquisition part 2. This filter processing is separated into two individual processes. Then, the two data convoluted with individual convolution functions are reversely projected at reconstitution part 3 respectively and by adding those reversely projected data to each other, reconstituted images can be obtained. By this, an exact image with high resolution can be obtained.
