To realize a suspending/forwarding function without providing additional functions, such as a suspension/forwarding function and the like, to a telephone terminal in a VoIP system.
An audio data transmission line control means 15A for forming an audio data transmission line is provided besides a main device 12A which receives or transmits control messages related to calls. Address information for transmitting or receiving the audio data in an originating call side and a terminating call side is transmitted from the main device 12A to the audio data transmission line control means. The main device 12A transmits address information for transferring the audio data of the audio data transmission line control means 15A to the originating call side and the termination call side. The originating call side and the termination call side utilize the address information for transferring the audio data of the audio data transmission line control means 15A as the address information of a destination to whom the audio data are transmitted, whereby the audio data can be transmitted between the originating call side and the termination call side through the intermediary of the audio data transmission line control means 15A.
