Abstract:
A process for producing nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADP) comprises the use of polyphosphoric acid or its salt and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD +>) as substrate, with Mycobacterium-originated polyphosphoric acid-dependent NAD +> kinase for phosphorylation, during which the liquid reaction mixture containing 0.1-15 wt.% polyphosphoric acid or its salt and 5 to 15-mM a divalent metal ion.
