Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystalline polyester resin for extrusion molding giving an extrusion molded product having high heat resistance, suitable fluidity and processability, and having excellent appearance, a material for extrusion molding and an extrusion molded product. SOLUTION: This liquid crystalline polyester resin has >=250 deg.C solder heat resistant temperature and has at least one of a ratio of melt viscosity measured at a temperature 20 deg.C higher than an incipient fluidization temperature under 100 sec-1 shear rate to melt viscosity measured at the incipient fluidization temperature under the same shear rate, and a ratio of melt viscosity measured at a temperature 20 deg.C higher than the incipient fluidization temperature under 1,000 sec-1 shear rate to melt viscosity measured at the incipient fluidization temperature under the same shear rate is 0.10-0.70.
