To provide a setting method of product inspection content, changing method of product inspection content, setting system of product inspection content and changing system of product inspection content capable of realizing a reduction in cost or inspection time by eliminating duplicate inspections for the same failure.

In this setting method, an inspection method for inspecting a portion of a part constituting a product is set from object product detectable data in which information for the part, the portion of the part, an inspection method for inspecting the portion, and a failure phenomenon detectable by the inspection method is compared, by use of inspection method characteristic data showing inspection method characteristics by inspection method as a determination basis.
