To provide a vehicle body/truck structure of a low-floor type railroad vehicle which is capable of eliminating a step between a common platform and a floor surface without using any small diameter wheels to cause troubles in the safe traveling at a turnout realizing easy get-on/get-off in a stepless manner, in other words, even without considerably reducing the diameter of wheels.
A truck side beam is bent in a substantially recessed shape at a center in the longitudinal direction, an air spring 9 is interposed between a substantially recessed truck center portion and a pillow beam 6 of a vehicle body frame 3, a lower side of the vehicle body frame 3 is opened in a turning area of wheels 4, and a part of the wheels 4 are arranged within the frame 3. Cooling air to be introduced from a front upper part of a vehicle body 2 is led close to an outer end in the vehicle body frame through a door pocket from an upper part of a side framing body. In addition, a cooling air duct 10 of substantially L-shape in plan view is arranged within the frame 3 outside the turning area of the wheels 4 in the vehicle body width direction continuous to the longitudinal direction at the intermediate position in the vehicle body width direction, and led to a drive motor part 20. The opening section of a main part 10a of the cooling air duct 10 is formed substantially square.
