Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure in which sufficient bond strength is ensured in constitution in which the inside of a tension member is not filled with concrete and the flow-away of filled concrete and the occurrence of a concrete crack are prevented in a joint for the tension member of a steel-pipe concrete composite pier adopted in a high pier. SOLUTION: The joint structure is formed in constitution in which joint pipes are arranged on the outer circumferences or inner circumferences of the abutting end faces of a pair of steel pipes and a grout material is placed in openings among the outer circumference or the inner circumference and the joint pipes, bearing members composed of projections or projecting strips are installed within a range that the grout material among the inner circumferences and the inner circumferences and the joint pipes is placed, and quick-setting high-strength mortar displaying compressive strength of 20 N/mm<2> in 3 or 7 hrs after placing is used as the grout material.
