Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic ion exchanger-hydrophilic polymer composite containing a large amount of inorganic ion exchangers within the substances of hydrophilic polymers having excellent adsorption capability and flame- retardance and a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: This inorganic ion exchanger-hydrophilic polymer composite consists of the hydrophilic polymers and the inorganic ion exchangers incorporated into the substance of the hydrophilic polymers, in which the content of the inorganic ion exchanger is >=60 wt.% and the ion exchange capacity thereof is >=1.0 meq/g.
