To provide an audio processing apparatus capable of easily editing audio data.

The audio data processing apparatus has a storage means of storing a plurality of data wherein character data and note data are paired; a display means of displaying the pairs of character data and note data in display units of the note data; a specifying means of specifying an insertion position where insertion of blanks is started and the number of blanks for each display unit; a buffer means of temporarily storing character data after the specified insertion position; an erasing means of erasing the character data after the specified insertion position; and an allocating means for allocating the temporarily stored character data sequentially to the note data from note data corresponding to the display unit position for the specified number of blanks apart from the specified insertion position.
