To provide a method for effectively reusing the whole dust produced from a converter making good use of it.
In the method for recovering and reusing the dust caused in the converter, a waste gas collecting system recovery dust produced at the blowing time is sorted into coarse grains and fine grains, in these grains, the coarse grain dust is used for converter raw material or molten iron pre-treating raw material, and fine grain dust is used for raw material for sintered ore or a pellet. On the other hand, the dust recovered with a dust collecting system at the charging time of molten iron and at the tapping time of steel, separately arranged to the above waste gas collecting system, is used for desiliconizing agent or dephosphorizing agent for molten iron.
