To provide an organic wastewater treatment apparatus which can effectively treat organic wastewater containing hardly biodegradable organic matter, and sufficiently reduce a TOC concentration in the obtained treated water.
The apparatus 100 for treating organic wastewater containing hardly biodegradable organic matter and easily biodegradable organic matter includes a first treatment device 1 for biologically treating the organic wastewater, a second treatment device 2 disposed downstream of the first treatment device 1 for degrading at least a part of the hardly biodegradable organic matter by ozone treatment to obtain degraded products a third treatment device 4 disposed downstream of the second treatment device 2 for performing reverse osmosis membrane treatment or biological treatment of the degraded products, and a fourth treatment device 5 disposed downstream of the third treatment device 4 for performing one of reverse osmosis membrane treatment and biological treatment, different from the treatment performed by the third treatment device 4.
