Abstract:
To control a rotating speed according to a clothes load or a fabric sort to increase a washing capability even when loads or sorts are different.
The drum-type washing/drying machine includes a drum for housing clothes, an outer tub involving the drum, a drive device for driving the drum, a device for measuring a rotating speed of the drum, a vibration sensor for detecting vibrations of the tub, and a control device for controlling the drive device from an output of the sensor and the rotating speed, wherein a rotating speed of the drum is so controlled that a mechanical power to be applied to the clothes becomes larger from an output of the sensor.
