Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve drying performance at the drying operation start time when performing washing in hot water during washing.SOLUTION: A washing and drying machine includes: an air passage 19 in which a radiator 23 and a heat sink 22 of a heat pump device 41 are disposed and which introduces drying air into a drum 4; blower means 21 for blowing air to the air passage 19; heating means 30 for heating a compressor 25; water temperature detection means 15 for detecting the temperature of washing water in a water tub 1; hot water washing setting means 36d for setting washing by hot water; and control means 35 for controlling a washing operation and a drying operation. When hot water washing is set by the hot water washing setting means 36d, the control means 35 detects the temperature of the washing water during washing or rinsing and before the start of the washing operation, and when the temperature of the washing water during washing or rinsing is higher than the temperature before the start of the washing operation, the compressor 25 is heated before starting the drying operation.
