Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a height of a specific portion of livestock such as cattle easily and accurately.SOLUTION: A measuring device 1 of a specific portion of livestock includes: a frame body 2 accommodating livestock; a guide rail 3 extended along the front/rear of the livestock; a movement member 4 supported so as to be moved along the guide rail 3; a belt-shaped measuring tool 5 including a contact member 5A to a measuring target portion, the contact member attached on one edge side; and a measuring tool holding part 6 arranged in the movement member 4 and holding the one edge side of the measuring tool 5 so as to be pulled out downward from a reference pull-out edge 6A. A height of a portion of livestock is measured by reading a scale of the measuring tool 5 at the reference pull-out edge 6A in a state in which the contact member 5A contacts the measuring target portion of the livestock.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
