Abstract:
A video projection system includes: at least first and second local video projection units (2A, 2B, 2C, 2D), and a video signal distributing unit (1) adapted to distribute first and second luminance signals (LVSA, LVSB) to the first and second local video projection units (2A, 2B), respectively. The first local video projection unit (2A) projects a first view field along with a first maximum luminance (LA max ), and the second local video projection unit (2B) projects a second view field larger than the first view field along with a second maximum luminance (LB max ) smaller than the first maximum luminance (LA max ). A luminance resolution (LR) of the first luminance distribution is equal to a luminance resolution (LR) of the second luminance distribution.
