PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an overcurrent.SOLUTION: A forklift truck comprises a control device for a DC motor for driving a cargo handling motor. The control device for a DC motor comprises: a half bridge circuit that has a first switching element and a second switching element connected in series to each other; and a controller that performs duty control of the first switching element and the second switching element. The controller, when executing soft start, sets an initial value of a duty of the second switching element on the basis of a ratio of a both-end voltage of an armature to a voltage of a battery.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
