Abstract:
To reduce a weight and cost of a wiper control device by reduction in the size of a wiper switch unit and the number of conducting wires while enabling setting a plurality of intermittent operation modes of a wiper.SOLUTION: A wiper control device includes a wiper switch unit 30 having a time adjustment operation section 36 which adjusts a time interval of an intermittent action of a wiper, a control unit 60 which outputs a control signal to a wiper motor 90 based on a signal of the wiper switch unit, and a time adjustment circuit 100 which switches an energized state in response to an operation of the time adjustment operation section 36, where the time adjustment circuit includes a main circuit 110 in which a plurality of resistors r1, r2 and r3 are arranged on the wiper switch unit 30 in series, bypass circuits c1, c2 and c3 of each of the resistors, and a switch mechanism which opens and closes each of the bypass circuits in response to the operation of the time adjustment operation section 36, where the control unit controls the time interval based on an electric resistance value that changes due to the opening/closing state of the switch mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
