PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image projection device that suppresses a reduction in visibility when projecting an image while changing a focal distance.SOLUTION: An image projection device comprises: a first projection part that can project an image with a first projection optical system; a second projection part that can project an image with a second projection optical system; a first projection mode in which the first and second projection parts project images at a first focal distance f1; and a second projection mode in which the first projection part projects an image at the first focal distance f1 and the second projection part projects an image at a second focal distance f2. When the first projection mode is switched to the second projection mode, the first focal distance f1 of the first projection part is temporarily changed to an intermediate focal distance fc, and the second focal distance f2 of the second projection part is changed to the intermediate focal distance fc.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
