Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance facility which is able to suppress generation of dusts when a wheel touches a rail.SOLUTION: An article conveying vehicle 3 running along rails 23 comprises wheels 18 which touch the rails 23 and rotate. A wheel rotation device 24 is included which enables the wheels 18 to rotate in a specific area of a travel route upstream from a specific location where the wheel 18 and the rail 23 comes into contacted state from mutually separated state. The wheel rotation device 24 makes the wheel 18 rotate so that the relative speed between the outer peripheral surface of the wheel 18 and the rail 23 may be decreased in the condition that the device does not touch the wheel 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
