PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a dead time when taking out a component thereby enabling efficient taking-out of a component.SOLUTION: A mound component taking-out device comprises: a magnet hand 2 equipped with an adsorption face 21 which can adsorb mound components P in a constant range from above; a primary distance meter 3 which can detect a height of each component P; a robot arm 1 which is movable in a three-dimensional space while holding the magnet hand 2 and the primary distance meter 3; and a control unit 4 which so controls the robot arm 1 as to move the robot arm 1 in a horizontal surface within an adsorption range D1 of the magnet hand 2 and prescribed ranges D2, D3 adjacent to the adsorption range, to specify a component P which exists at a highest position below a movement locus t1, to position the adsorption face 21 of the magnet hand 2 so as to include a position at which the component P exists, and to adsorb the component P which exists at the highest position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
