PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus capable of starting operation in a desired operation mode without having a user perform complicated operation.SOLUTION: A communication device 100 accepts prescribed operation from a user 202, accepts a control request from an external device 150 after accepting the prescribed operation, operates in a first mode in which the external device controls the movement of the communication device when accepting the control request from the external device within a prescribed period, and operates in a second mode in which the communication device controls the movement when not accepting the control request from the external device within the prescribed period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
