Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve confidentiality of a key used in encryption of a secret key.SOLUTION: A key generation device generates a public key and a secret key pair of a terminal device, encrypts the secret keys, and sends them to the terminal device. A key encryption key used for encrypting the secret keys is generated by encrypting user identification information by a master key. The key generation device divides the master key into a seed A and a seed B, and the seed A sends the encrypted secret key together with the user identification information to the terminal device. The seed B is embedded into an application provided by an application providing device. The terminal device acquires the seed A and the seed B, restores the master key from the seeds, restores the key encryption key from the restored master key and the user identification information, and decrypts the secret key from the key.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
