Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article of furniture that can minimize obstruction of the lighting through windows and that can facilitate concealment of a cord of a display device.SOLUTION: The article of furniture 1 of the present embodiment includes: a base 2 having a top board 21; and a device support 3 that rises from the upper face of the top board 21 and that supports a panel-shaped display device 42. The device support 3 as the characteristic thereof is hollow, with the display device 42 installed on the outer face of the device support 3 and, on the face on which the display device 42 is installed, there is provided an insertion port 331 for inserting inside the device support 3 a cord that is connected to the display device 42. Also, the lateral length along the surface on which the display device 42 of the device support 3 is installed is shorter than the lateral length of the base 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
