Abstract:
In order to install a thin power unit 20 in accordance with the height of a center rail 16, this power sliding device has a sliding door 11, a wire cable, and the power unit 20 that slides the sliding door 11 by moving the wire cable. The power unit 20 is disposed in the interior space of the sliding door 11. The power unit 20 is equipped with a motor 29, a door-opening drum 21A, and a door-closing drum 21B. A door-opening drum shaft 28A of the door-opening drum 21A, a door-closing drum shaft 28B of the door-closing drum 21B, and a motor shaft 29A of the motor 29 are parallel to one another with different shaft cores. A door-opening cable 22A and a door-closing cable 22B extend horizontally rearward and are drawn to outside of the sliding door 11 from the rear end of the sliding door 11.
