Abstract:
To provide a method of producing an inorganic weight-reducing material for a light weight calcium silicate board having stable quality without making its process complicated.SOLUTION: The method of producing an inorganic weigh-reducing material comprises the steps of carrying out hydrothermal synthesis of slurry comprising a siliceous raw material, a calcareous raw material and water in a pressure vessel at a temperature of 150 to 220°C, introducing slurry (A) comprising a crystalline calcium silicate hydrate obtained by the hydrothermal synthesis into slurry (B) comprising a siliceous raw material, a calcareous raw material and water, and keeping the mixed slurry at a temperature of 80 to 98°C under an atmospheric pressure until gelled slurry is obtained.SELECTED DRAWING: None
