Abstract:
To provide a method for producing fluorite, capable of producing high-impurity fluorite efficiently.SOLUTION: A method for producing fluorite includes: a step (S11) of arranging a calcium compound in a reaction chamber, at least part of the inner wall of which comprises a metal, the calcium compound comprising at least one selected from the group comprising a carbonate of calcium, a nitrate thereof, a sulfate thereof, an oxalate thereof, a hydroxide thereof, and an oxide thereof; and steps (S12, S13) of introducing a raw material gas comprising hydrogen fluoride in the reaction chamber to react the calcium compound with the raw material gas while maintaining the temperature of the inner wall at 110°C or larger, thereby obtaining the fluorite.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
