Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out drying by supplying sufficient amount of heat immediately after starting hot air generation.SOLUTION: There is provided a dryer comprising a plurality of heating rollers that contact and heat continuous sheets of paper, a heating drum that contacts and heats the continuous sheets of paper, and a plurality of non-contact heating devices that heat the continuous sheets of paper without contacting the same. The plurality of non-contact heating devices each comprise a hot-air generating means of generating heated hot air. A heating temperature Tb of the individual heating rollers is kept higher than a heating temperature Tc (Tb>Tc) to be set after a hot-air temperature Tw rises to a predetermined temperature Ta, until the hot-air temperature rises to the predetermined temperature Ta after the hot air generation is started.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
