Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent overheating from occurring due to the continuation of heating operation by a heating means when an object to be heated is stopped.SOLUTION: A heater 120 includes: a plurality of infrared heaters 123 for heating continuous form paper 110; and a plurality of air knives 124 for spraying air toward the continuous form paper 110. The plurality of infrared heaters 123 are arranged in line along a moving direction (a conveying direction) of the continuous form paper 110. The air knives 124 are arranged between the infrared heaters 123 adjacent to each other. A suction fan 126 is connected with the air knives 124. Air stream 140 is sprayed toward the continuous form paper 110 while the suction fan 126 is rotated for ventilation operation. The suction fan 126 constantly conducts ventilation operation while power is fed to the infrared heaters 123.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
