Abstract:
PURPOSE:To smooth the surface of a blocked portion by a method wherein fluid is supplied into a parison, the inlet portion is blocked to make a hollow body and the blocked portion is compressed by a compression member. CONSTITUTION:A parison 12 of thermoplastic synthetic resin is brought into the centers of split molds 11, 11, part of a periphery containing both open parts of the parison is engaged and melted to make an expanded part 14. Then, the point of a fluid injecting nozzle 16 is attached close to an unhardened expanded part 14, the fluid is brought into the parison 12 melted by a mold 11 through a joint part 15 from said expanded part 14 to form a synthetic resin hollow body 1. Then, the expanded part 14 is separated from the hollow body 1 and the joint part 15 is blocked. The blocked part 5 of the blocked hollow formed body 1 is heated by a gas burner 22 and then the blocked part 5 is compressed by a compression member 23 and smoothed to obtain a closed hollow body.
