Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the resistance to abrasion and resistance to load of a locker arm, which is stuck with reinforcement cloth on its sliding face, by holding one end of a material piece of said cloth between joining faces of divided formation type and sticking it through pressing to a main body part made of synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:A locker arm is provided with an axial hole 1 and also stuck with a reinforcement cloth 6 covering the face from a slide surface 5 of a cam side arm 3 to a tensile stress generative side surface of a valve side arm 2. In manufacturing this locker arm, an upper type 10 and a lower type 11, assembled with each other forming a formative cavity 12 in the middle, are used. Then, through holding an end part of a material piece 17 of the reinforcement cloth between joining faces of said two types 10, 11 and pouring synthetic resin material, for forming a main body part, from a pouring groove 15 into the formative cavity 12, the main body part is formed and at the same time, the material piece 17 of the reinfoecement cloth is stuck through pressing to the main body part. Thus, the resistance to abrasion and resistance to load of the locker arm is improved.
