Abstract:
Compounds of the general formula: (wherein A is 4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl, 4-chloro-2-methylphenyl, 4-chloro-2,5-dimethylphenyl, 4-chloro-2,6-dimethylphenyl, 2,4-difluorophenyl, 2,4,6-trichlorophenyl or 2,4,6-trifluorophenyl; n is 1 to 5; R<1> and R<2> are independent of one another and are hydrogen or (C1-C4)alkyl; and Z is hydrogen, (C1-C5)alkoxy, halo or the group in which m is 0 to 5 and R<3> and R<4> are independent of one another and are hydrogen or (C1-C4)alkyl; with the proviso that R<1>, R<2>, R<3> and R<4> cannot all be hydrogen) are antiatherosclerotic agents.
