Abstract:
This outdoor unit includes a compressor installed on the bottom of a housing, an outdoor heat exchanger installed along the inner peripheral surface of the upper portion of the housing, an outdoor blower installed on the upper portion of the housing and supplying air to the outdoor heat exchanger, and a control unit for controlling the compressor and the outdoor blower, the outdoor unit comprising: an active filter unit having an active filter for suppressing harmonics generated from the control unit, and a case for accommodating the active filter; and an attachment part for attaching the active filter unit, wherein the active filter unit is attached to the outer peripheral surface of the housing via the attachment part so as to be capable of changing the distance of a gap formed between the active filter unit and the outer peripheral surface. This makes it unnecessary to install the active filter unit inside the housing of the outdoor unit, makes it possible to eliminate overcrowding of other component arrangements in the housing of the outdoor unit to an extent corresponding to the freed-up installation space of the active filter unit, and makes it possible to achieve improvement of cooling efficiency of each component.
