Abstract:
PURPOSE: To discriminate the signal output source based on the output timing by differentiating the output timings of abnormal detection signals of gauze selvedge forming apparatuses placed at the weft-insertion end side and the starting side.
CONSTITUTION: Gauze selvedge forming apparatuses 18 acting by the cooperation of a sun gear 2, a supporting gear 3, a pair of intermediate gears 4A, 4B and a pair of planetary gears 5A, 5B are placed at the weft-insertion end part and the starting part of a loom. The loom is provided with either one or both of a bobbin insertion abnormality detector 16 to detect the abnormal position of an escape-inhibiting member 14 of a supporting pin rotatably supporting bobbins 7A, 7B put on bobbin holders 6A, 6B and a detector 16 to detect the abnormal position of a tension arm 8c guiding the gauze threads Ya, Yb on the bobbin holders 6A, 6B, and the abnormality detection signal output timings of both gauze selvedge forming apparatuses 18 are made to be different from each other. The abnormal position can be specified by judging the output source of the abnormality signal received at the 1st (or 2nd) inputting timing to be the weft-insertion end part side (or the starting side) by a control computer Co.
