Abstract:
To provide an abrasive belt for centerless processing which can obtain smoothness and durability.SOLUTION: In the abrasive belt for centerless processing, plural abrasive protrusions 28 having a constant height h are regularly arranged on a base material sheet 26 in the state of separating from one another, and a divergent part 30, which gradually spreads to an outer peripheral side of the abrasive protrusion 28 as approaching the base material sheet 26, is provided on the base material sheet 26 side of the abrasive protrusion 28. Thus, smoothness of an outer peripheral surface of a shaft-like work-piece 16 after centerless processing can be obtained with respect to smoothness of a surface of the shaft-like work-piece 16, and since a peel strength thereof can be improved in such a manner that the divergent part 30, which gradually spreads to the outer peripheral side of the abrasive protrusion 28 as approaching the base material sheet 26, is provided on the base material sheet 26 side of the abrasive protrusion 28, peel of the abrasive protrusion 28 can be suppressed, and high durability of the abrasive belt 24 can be obtained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
