To accommodate a gas meter, piping, a post, or the like regardless of the installation height by fixing lower and upper bodies to a fixing system, and by fitting the upper end part of the lower body to the lower end part of the upper one while they can relatively move in up and down directions.
An accommodation box A has a box body 1. The box body 1 consists of lower and upper bodies 2 and 3. The lower body 2 is formed in a cylindrical shape where upper and lower end parts are open, and consists of back and front cylindrical bodies 2A and 2B being divided into two in back and front directions. The upper body 3 is formed in the cylindrical shape where the upper end is closed as a whole and the lower end is open, and the lower end part of the upper body 3 is fitted to the upper end part of the lower body 2 while they can relatively move in up and down direction, thus adjusting the position of the lower and upper bodies 2 and 3 in the up and down directions. Furthermore, the lower body 2 is fitted to the inside of the upper body 3, thus preventing rainwater from entering the inside of the lower body 2 from the upper body 3.
